I’ve seen too many
Tripped up too many times, true
So today I fly
Basking in the sun
Blinded by mysteries hue
Dazed, confused, tranquil
Missing in action
From assembly line playgrounds
Still jumping from swings
Saw two stars last night
Playing games, watching TV
My son’s, my gifts, love
I think in riddles
I speak in hieroglyphics
I am alien
My parents ran a residential rehabilitation center. The basement of the first house on Thirty-five Chestnut Street was home for me as a newborn. When I was a kid my life seemed to have no adventure and felt completely void of characters. It wasn't as vivid as tales spun by addicts in search of recovery and a personal Jesus. These haikus are great!

"So today I fly" - finding another method of transportation.
"Assembly line playgrounds/ Still jumping from swings"
"Saw two stars last night" - as a reference to your beautiful sons.
And I love the whole last haiku. Very cool. And true. Speaking in hieroglyphics is quite an interesting image.
